NTC was founded in 1997 and started to be active in Europe and some selective markets in Asia. The first licensing-out agreement for a pharmaceutical product was signed by NTC with the company Hyundai Pharm. Ind. Co. Ltd. during the year 1998.
The products D-SEB© and PENTRAX© were launched in Saudi-Arabia during 1999. In 2000 NTC started the development of several medical devices and pharmaceutical products in nebules presentation. Among those, BLUYAL© was launched in Italy during the year 2000 and it is at present among the top in its therapeutical class.
The first two generics of NTC were launched in 2001 in Italy through agreements with two generic multinational companies.
After Italy also Korea was added to the agreements of NTC for the product EXOREX©. The product PRIVITUSS©, launched by Daewoong, Korea has reached a leading position in its class during 2002.
During 2002 a line of dermo-cosmetic products was launched in Spain and now the products are among the leaders in their segment.
During 2003 two agreements have been signed with two multinational companies whereby the launch of the products is scheduled to take place during the second quarter 2005.
Germany has been added as country where the NTC logo is present in the local pharmacies through an agreement with a local pharmaceutical company for the sales of BLUYAL©.
During the last quarter of 2003 a MRP registration has started from Netherlands to register a product in several EC countries including Italy.
